I've seen all the candidates out and about. I've seen their signs all around town. You cannot walk into the North Ward without knowing there is an election coming. Yet, in the West... NOTHIN...

WHERE ARE YOU RON C. RICE? Are you still running? Maybe its time for you to take a little bit of a leave of absence at the job and get grinding... you ain't got much time left and Mamie's walking all over you in the streets.

Because I am walking in every district every night and day. Come walk with me, you are more than invited. Just come by the HQ at 900-B 18th Avenue day or night and you can join our crews or walk with me.

I am talking to voters directly and every night. The "sign" and "lawn sign" war will commence soon, but it is more important to get committed voters, door to door which is what I have been doing for the last year.

Look for our more visible efforts this week starting with our first round of endorsements and posting of over 500 lawn signs throughout the ward by Saturday as well as our first ward wide mailing.

But again, if you want to walk with us as we touch voters directly every day and night, just come by and join us.

Sorry for posting so infrequently, but work does delay me.

PS: I have been campaigning full-time for the last two months on unpaid leave from my job.

Yes I have heard this from quite a few people whom you have spoken to. Don't forget the Ivy Hill apartments-there a plenty of voters there. Good luck.

Been to Ivy Hill at least 5 times and will be there again later this week.

The doors do NOT lie. Most have not seen the incumbent, EVER!!!! In fact, I am getting a lot of support from people just because I am and have been knocking on doors, going to schools, etc.

For Our Youth, you need to go with me to see firsthand. The invitation is still extended.

Keep up the good work. You are an inspiration and a fine example for those who seek to lead. Your efforts have not gone un-noticed and Im sure that the residents in the West Ward will agree come may 9th. "KEEP YOUR HEAD UP AND STAY ON YOUR GRIND."

Ron, are you technically a "junior" since you and your father don't share the same middle name? Does your birth cert say Junior? Just curious.

Everyone in political Newark calls me Jr., but I am not really a JR.

I use it to make the distinction as I want to be viewed and scrutinized as a candidate on my own record, ideas, and vision.

Good question.

Unlike J. Sharpe James you adopt junior to not be confused as opposed to....

What's your middle name? Ever think about going by that?\

You're Ron the Younger for me now. No offense.
