I am not a Newark resident but I wish I was able to vote to get the special ones I like in office (Rone, Rice, Jr., Cory, and Ras)!!! Good luck to all and everyone stress the fact that we must vote either way!!!

It is a sacrifice just to run for office. I hope that our city will soon be able to move forward from the negativity that has been allowed to infiltrate our community. I am truly dissapointed by the filth that has been used to unjustly influence the electorate. Those who are responsible should know that the filth is a reflection of themselves, not those who they oppose. Hopefully 2010 will bring us a more ethical campaign period.

Ron Rice, in the pocket of the corporate construction industry, the NYC Longshoremens Union (which is Mob controlled), and Tony Gomes. The man has been a flunky who sways with the political wind since the beginning, yet you see him as Newarks savior?

Ras Baraka may be well intentioned, but it appears that he is clueless, as he proved in the 80 million dollar debacle.

Bessie Walker, isn't she the one who had the convicted narcotics trafficker working for her? That and her lack of self control is what newar has had way too much of.

John James has REPEATEDLY demonstrated that he has neither the maturity nor common sense necessary to hold an office as essential to the day to day management of Newark, or to be taken as a serious candidate. His behavior on this forum alone disqualifies him, and what has come out regarding him and that disgusting web site associated with the bogus non profit that was soliciting donations shows him to be corrupt from the gate.

Newark doesn't need these kind of people keeping them at the bottom of everything in this region.
