I am sad to see what is currently happening with Sharpe James despite all his faults he did some good for the City, But because of the arrogance of Power and his ego he is reeping what he sowed. For to long people have been intimidated, fired, transfered, businesses shut down, etc. if you dared to question or challenge him. Now that he is no longer in the seat to bully and intimidate people folks are lining up to kick his *ss, and sadly it will work and he may go down in this City as our worse Mayor and the good things that he did will get lost in his demise. Can you blame Booker for wanting to see this happen? I don't...... I understand his fustration of wanting to join with this Civil rights generation to continue the fight that they started only to be rebuked and pushed aside or try to destroy you and anyone around you before your career even starts. Now he is paying for that behavior trust me if he would have taken a different departure one that was offered to him this would not be happening.

I also want to make it clear that Sharpe was not able to do these things on his own he had , Governors, senators, assemblymen, councilman or woman, congressman, County Execs, Directors, Union Leaders, and others to help him Bully and intimidate people I hope we don't forget them now that they want to help Booker destroy Sharpe and take the weight off of them.

I'm not feeling sorry for him because he didnt do his job, Good things in Newark:eek: , that was his job to make positive changes and structure for the betterment of Newarkers and alike.

I feel sorry for us, who suffered in his reign, the kids that could've had jobs, and a better education and home and childhood, but because he was in it for himself we, they, us had to suffer, damn him and all that follows, since he was the leader of the pack he will suffer.

Maybe John can look in a borrowed law book of statures and find a word in it that will clear his father of any wrong doing.
