Newark Schools Opened Today

Sent my two young boys to City Schools today. Kindergarten and 1st grade. I enjoyed the experience...my wife and I picked them up this PM and they were very happy and looking forward to more schooling. Couldn't ask for anything better.

Drove by once or twice when it was being built. It looked like a really big campus style complex and will transform that whole area. I like that design concept; similar to the proposed new Central and Science Highs. I read the story in the Ledger and hope to visit soon.

I'm trying to imagine the new schools and facilities for kids being built around the City and other Abbott locales and hoping that our children do benefit from all this investment.
