Does Quality of Life Have Anthing To Do With...

I know maybe I'm being impatient but I don't see any movement in the areas of litter and the quality of roads. :mad: I swear, outside of the downtown area, there seems to be more garbage on the ground...or maybe I'm just too sensitive to it. I don't know. Either way, it looks like the city just doesn't have a plan in this area. We need more garbage cans and clean up people. Heck with double digit unemployment, we can find someone to pick up street trash, can't we?

And can someone tell me what's the deal with municipal roads? Can someone tell me which city roads have been repaired in the last year? What's the priority matrix? :confused: I'd like to hear what the city is doing in this area because, if they are making improvements (asside from downtown), I'm just not seeing it.

I have seen alot of blocks being clean now a days. I'm not sure if it's because the street is part of a block association, but i do see more folks cleaning their blocks. Your right about not enough trash cans are placed on the streets, but because you have kids that can't find anything to do, they tend to start fires.

As far as the roads being repaired. I know the road by vailsburg park is being paved now, but that maybe county property. Their are a few streets here and their being repaired, but the major streets that need to be repaired is not being done.
