The Great Debaters- Denzel Washington...... On screen DEC 25th:eek:
I am Legend- Will Smith!............Already in the movies:eek:
Just like the "American Gangster" bootleg, the films are clear. I was driving on Springfield Ave, stopped by a chicken joint and low and behold there was "bro man" selling both flicks. He had a portable DVD player showing how clear the films were. I almost let my temptation get the best of me, but I refused to purchase it. I told the brother, we must support our Black Actors, his reply was. "Them Bast@rDS don't give a sh*t about my struggling Black a$$". I told the brother to have a wonderful xmas and a Happy New Year!:D
My question is, who has the inside scoop to make such clear films?! Is it a conspiracy against black actors to dub their films?

I think it's a conspiracy. You won't find those Disney films out before the release that clear!

and now his little business will be raided. I hope he gets a legitimate hustle the next time.:o
Speaking of The Great Debaters. Do you remember Jurnee Smollett, the little girl who played in Eve's Bayou? She is all grown up now and every bit a superb actress in this movie as a Nicole Kidman.

In the computer age you're behind the 8ball if you're still buying bootlegs from "Bro Man from the 5th floor by the Chicken Shack". You can watch pretty much anything you want in the comfort of your home on your home while typing on NS with your "light out".
There is no conspiracy against actors/actresses of color. I've seen every movie out or coming out either online or at the bootleg stand. The reason they are so clear is because a copy of the DVD screener is being copied. This is the copy that the reviewers see before a movie is released or a tv show hits the air. I'm waiting for Season 5 of "The Wire" to be released so I can download it and cancel my HBO.
Spoken, add "The Bucket List" to your movies being bootlegged. It's only in limited release (national release Jan. 11) and has been online for a week.

Pirated movies are all over the streets of Newark. Ferry Street. Market Street. East, South Wards. I wouldnt be surprised if the pirated movie sellers duck into the police precincts to sell the latest release. Hollywood isnt really serious about stopping pirated movies.

Yes, it does include Disney. The best pirated movies are kids movies, animated, etc...they are copied off of the internet and are as vivid as any theatrical release. Again, Hollywood may say they want to stop this but they really do not. They speak too loud on the subject and carry a small stick. There are too many insiders, most likely, in bed with the pirates.

This sound like the same "bro man" who comes *regularly* into my beauty shop.

These leaks have got to be coming from inside of the movie industry; an enterprise probably run by the mob.

 Come to the Ironbound and, in any cafe, in any restaurant, you may experience the young indentured Asian saleswomen who are pressed to sell pirated movies. They come with backpacks, stuffed with bootlegged DVD's, and promises of if you buy 4 for $20, you can have the 5th for free.

I can't eat a Portuguese pastry or a Brazilian burger without being harassed by Asian women selling DVDs. Not even the store owners do anything about it.

With all the marketing and TV spots and Oprah's backing, none of the above were good enough to get Denzel Washington's latest film, 'The Great Debaters' into the top ten of the box office. It landed in #11 place with about $6.3 million dollars. It's total so far, since its opening on Christmas day, is $13.5 million dollars. Although it's playing in limited theaters (1,171), last year's blockbuster 'Dreamgirls' opened on the same day but had better results in less theaters ($8 million dollars from 852 theaters). Where was the love this year?
(Is it possible that many people had seen it prior to it's release on a high quality DVD that was leaked out before the movie?)

that a lot of these movies are copied in China. The Chinese are great at copying stuff. Heck, I even saw somewhere on the internet that they are copying high end luxury automobiles (BMW, Mercedes, etc...)
Gonna get me a bootleg Ferrari Enzo and be like fitty cent 'cause LAWD knows I can't afford a real one. Come to think of it, I might not be able to afford the knock off joint! Dang!
