Fatal Shooting Of New Brunswick Pastor Under Investigation
April 7, 2012 11:06 PM

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Police said the pastor of a New Brunswick church has been fatally shot on a street in New Jersey’s largest city.

Forty-seven-year-old Donald Huges, of Newark, was shot late Friday. He was taken to a hospital, where he died before midnight.

Authorities said Saturday that Huges was the pastor of Praise Tabernacle Worship Ministries. Police say they don’t yet have a clear motive and haven’t made any arrests.

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest. The investigation is ongoing.

Newark is about 20 miles northeast of New Brunswick.
