I don't know how much Education Mattered yesterday, but I do know Money didn't, looks like you need more than just a degree to be a Leader after all.
What a waste of 150k Congrats to the Children First Team and Anton Wheeler and his Candidate Dr.Rasheed McCreary who won by not campaigning with their Team! Yet still benefitted from those beautiful expensive mailings. Shavar and his Lawyer Team got pimped by Anton! |

Shevar is a young bright and talented young man. However, he is politically inept. Clearly he lacks trust in himself. To have Booker, who has lost every race join you was a certain fork in the heart. It made absolutely no sense. Shevar is well connected and would have easily raised money to run his team. It also makes no sense that given all the attenetion the issue of Schools has garnered that only 25,000 people came out to vote in a district with at least 85,000 children. We wonder why the State has taken over and will never cease control of Newark Public Schools. This year more than ever we should have witnessed the highest increas in voting on education in this city. I hope this isn't any indication of what we are in for in November. |
