Position Announcement


Position: Camp Junior Museum Coordinator
Opening Date: Immediately
Closing Date: May 31, 2007

Position Objective:
Responsible for all aspects of camp programming, including implementing curriculum, conducting staff training & daily management, purchasing supplies, and daily management of the camp program. Program runs from July 9 through August 17.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assists in developing Camp Junior Museum programs, including activities & schedules for staff & for campers
  • Conducts training for staff as necessary
  • Conducts registration for Camp Junior Museum
  • Manages daily operation of Camp Junior Museum programs
  • Maintain records and produce an end-of-camp report
  • Responsible for other camp-related duties as needed for the smooth operation of the program

Qualifications:
B.A. or B.S. degree required; minimum of two years specific experience working with children ages 3-14 along with experience in managing a camp program. Must possess strong writing and organizational skills.
